Awsome app!!
Just what i was looking for, using it to control my HTPC

My only, tiny, suggestion is that you add the possibility to run the server as a service on windows(7).

Thanks again, and superb that its opensource, im gonna keep my eyes on this one for updates etc.

Hey, great app! I really like it a lot. Before I found it, I used a “real remote” to operate my computer (XP Pro) from my bed, but now with the droid/Milestone and Remotedroid, it has become a lot easier and reliable.

I was wondering whether it would be possible to include some more keyboard” features like German Umlaute, etc. May be the keyboard part of the app could behave like the keyboard on my phone (kinda hard because of the amount of phones? Solve by option to chose phone on server side?)…

What I would really like would be to minimize the server window to the system tray, so it is running in the background, without having the window up/in the task bar…

@werner, multitouch zoom hasn’t been implemented, only multitouch scroll has. It’s used like scrolling on a MacBook, put two fingers on the mouse area, and move them both up and down to scroll.

@Michael – Have you downloaded the server app and launched that on the computer you want to control first? If not, you can download it right here on this site, and it’s required to use the app. For more help, check the Support page.

@Brian – Josh, the developer of the app, has tested it on the Droid and says that the @ key works on the soft keyboard, but not the hardware keyboard.

cool app, thanks!
setup is very easy! 5 seconds and youre ready to go – great! i also like the fact it supports both landscape and potrait mode.

i see some room for improvement here: the multitouch-zoom feature works the wrong way. usually you should you slide your fingers apart to zoom in and slide them together to zoom out. its also does not feel very fluid on my configuration (Motorola Milestone/Droid 2.0.1, Win7 x64 Ultimate)

Thank you for this great app! I’m commenting using my new G1 remote on my mythbuntu entertainment center. I just wish I’d found this earlier, as it does just what I want it to. Again, thanks, and great work!
