RemoteDroid turns your phone into a wireless keyboard and mouse with touchpad, using your own wireless network. It's a free application for phones running Google's Android operating system, such as the Droid (Verizon Wireless) and the G1 (T-Mobile).

  • Soft keyboard support
    Now works with touchscreen-only phones and other devices. Even if your phone has a hardware keyboard, you can choose to use the onscreen keyboard if you wish.
  • Runs in full-screen
    Title bar and window shade no longer shown onscreen when using the app.
  • Select from last 5 hosts used, menu acts as ESC key.

  • User-selectable mouse control -- use either the phone's trackball or the onscreen touchpad
  • Two onscreen mouse buttons, with right-click/control-click functionality

RemoteDroid consists of two parts: the phone application you can download from Google's Android Marketplace, and a companion server application for your computer that you can download from this site.
